No subscription and no account. Pro is a license key you paste into Settings.
Each seat activates Pro on one Mac. Need more Macs? Pick more seats at checkout.
Pro also helps fund Apple notarization, so the app can open without a warning.
Pocket+ is made by one person and isn't notarized by Apple yet, so macOS asks you to confirm it once. Pro sales go toward an Apple developer membership, which removes this step for everyone.
Get PocketPlus.dmg and open it. After that, the app updates itself.
Drag Pocket+ into Applications.
Open the app, then go to System Settings › Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
Plug in the Pocket 3 with USB-C, choose Webcam on the camera, and allow Camera, Microphone and Bluetooth.
Pocket+ is built and tested with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, connected over USB-C in Webcam mode. You need macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Apple Silicon or Intel.
The camera's own ActiveTrack is on. Turn it off on the camera and tracking in the app will stay on.
Into your Movies folder. You can pick another folder in Settings › Output folder.
Try opening the app once more, then check System Settings › Privacy & Security again. The button appears right after macOS blocks the app.
Yes. After moving the app to Applications, run this once and Pocket+ opens without the warning:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Pocket+.app"Notarization needs a paid Apple developer membership, and Pocket+ is a one-person project. The app is signed, makes no network calls except update checks and license checks, and the membership is the first thing Pro sales will pay for.
Buy Pro on Gumroad and you'll get a license key by email. Paste it into Settings › Pro. Each seat activates Pro on one Mac, so for more Macs pick more seats at checkout: the same key then works on all of them.
An upvote on r/osmopocket helps more Pocket 3 owners find the app. A star on GitHub helps too.
